Book review: Little Black Lies by Sharon Bolton. I think I have found a new favourite author. Despite the grim storyline of disappearing children I absolutely loved this book! I especially enjoyed the setting in the Falkland Islands with its rugged landscape, vibrant wildlife and interesting history. I was absorbed in the story from the start and kept getting surprised by the unexpected twists right to the last page.
THE IMAGE OF YOU by Adele Parks. This is a compelling story that kept me hooked from start to finish. I didn't love is as much as 'A stranger in my home', but it is still a very entertaining read that I can recommend to anyone who likes a thriller with a twist.
So please to have another five-star review for my suspense novel THE DAUGHTER!
"... this one hooks you in quite quickly with a curiosity, that is if you have an interest in thrillers/crime novels. It's quite a fresh read in a well trodden genre. I went back to this a few times since completion, that is always a good sign with any book."
Today is the shortest day of the year so I decided to post a photo from the longest day of the year. This picture is taken very early in the morning, or very late at night, depending on how you look at it. Slowly but surely we are getting closer to summer again!
This is also the place where my next suspense novel is set:)
Book review: Behind Closed Doors by B A Paris. Unique, compelling and disturbing. This is a chilling thriller about an abusive husband and the lengths he is prepared to go to in order to control his wife. I was completely absorbed in Grace's struggle to escape Jack. Unputdownable!
